An exciting day for the students this month was the visit from Mick Fitzgerald, a Grand
National winning jockey. Josh, Jack, Tia and Imogen were keen to show off their grooming
skills and he seemed very impressed by their ability.
Josh and Jack moved on to pick Lakkie’s hooves with the help from the Amazing Angela; Tia
and Imogen showed off their creative side by plaiting Natterjack’s tail with Groovy Gary.
The education team would like to thank all of the yard staff in supporting the students with
their demonstration, with a special thank you to Angela and Gary.
Well done to the students for displaying all their skills and taking pride in their work, keep up
the grrrrrrreat grooming!
