Presentation Day
At the end of each academic year, Greatwood celebrates the student’s achievements and
success on completing their educational courses and qualifications; and this year was another
sunny celebration. The sun shone on the staff, parents, teachers, friends and horses who
have supported the students throughout the year. The commitment and accomplishments of
our learners was evident as more than 70 certificates were presented by our guest speaker,
racehorse trainer, Richard Hannon Jnr. The student’s success at Greatwood is remarkable,
with the courses aimed to help carve a future, and potentially a career, for young people who
truly deserve the best that life offers. Well done again to all, thank you for being so
wonderful and good luck with any future endeavours.

to the three brave learners who stood up
in front of over 120 guests to give their speeches;

Presentation day also gave us a chance to say a sad farewell to Laura- our lead teacher, who
is moving on to develop her career within specialist education. Good luck to all our leavers!
