Welcoming the New Horse-Power Horses
September 2015 - New team, New classroom, New courses, New learners! With such an
expansion of the education team, resources and courses, we needed to bring on board more
gallant horse-power horses. A ‘Horse-Power’ horse is one that continues its career by
introducing the next generation to the horse racing industry, and of course is integral to
Greatwood’s equine assisted learning programmes. September will see enthusiastic new
recruits including; Highland Pass (Tadpole), Ouzbeck (Mojo), Ravastree (Rav), Albahera
(Bertie), Penny Bridge, Storm, Charles Street Lad (Basil), Fast or Free (Fred) and Emotional
Article (Artie).
We are already familiar with some of these faces, and cannot wait to start working with the
new horses and students.
So we see that September will bring a lot of new and exciting changes and developments,
which the team here at Greatwood are embracing and looking forward to - Bring on the new
academic year.
