Get Started at Greatwood
Our second of our week long courses for young adults that aren’t in education, training or employment
has successfully been completed. With the achievements of previous students from March still in our
thoughts, we were excited to welcome another cohort or students onto the course and help them on the
path to a career in their chosen field.
With 11 students from various backgrounds coming together under one roof with the support of the
Princes Trust, it was encouraging to see great communication and team working skills being used to help
them achieve their shared goal - to complete a course in Basic Care in Horses. Having spoken to them all
throughout the week, it is clear that many of them have a strong desire to work with horses in the
future and hope to gain a job in the equine industry. Once again the trip to Nicky Henderson’s yard in
Lambourn inspired them all and opened their eyes to world of racing.
Massive congratulations to all 11 students that passed this course this week. Good luck for the future
