A Visit from the Marlborough Town Mayor
On Thursday February 25
th
we were thrilled to have a visit from the Town
Mayor, Councillor Margaret Rose, her Deputy and Mayor elect, Councillor
Noel Barrett-Morton and his wife, five of their fellow councillors and the Town
Clerk. A group of learner’s from St. John’s academy were very proud to be able
to demonstrate some of the skills they have learned here as part of the tour of
Greatwood.
The Mayor then presented Helen Yeadon, our managing director with a cheque
towards our work.
Donations and grants like this are invaluable to us as we strive to develop and
extend our alternative provision to young people in our community and beyond
– thank you again to the Mayor and Town Council, we really couldn’t manage
to do what we do without your continued support.
