Somewhere over the Rainbow
During October half term, we welcomed a new group of students to our Holiday Workshop. Most
children knew each other from school, Scouts and other clubs and were excited to be spending
the day together.
From creating a spooky pasta skeleton to mucking out the sheep; from caring for the Big Goats to
grooming the Shetlands and plaiting their manes; from the Derby to a dog walk in the woods the
children were friendly and had a lot of fun together.
Thank you and well done to all the children who visited on Tuesday, especially for all your energy
when walking our dogs. The view of the horses and the rain mixed with the sunshine was
stunning...What a special moment when we saw the saw the rainbow!
All five dogs had a brilliant time running and playing with you in the woods. They were very upset
that you had to leave and were unable to give them a bath! We look forward to seeing you all
again in the Christmas break!
