Poo Picking Paddy’s Paddock
It was a grey and murky day and all was quiet on the paddock front. The donkeys were snoozing in
their shelter, the Shetland Ponies were lying down after a late night and Paddy the Pony was busy
grazing. Then along came Royal Wootton Bassett School, armed with muck collectors and
wheelbarrows, ready to clear the paddock of the poo.
In teams of three, the competition was on to fill their wheelbarrow with the most poo. Who would
win? Which team could work together to achieve the aim of the task? After 45 minutes of
concentration and perseverance, the result was in… Congratulations to Robbie, Amy and Megan for
collecting the most poo. I wonder what the secret to your success as a team was. Was it your
effective communication? Or perhaps you had a good team leader?
However we mustn’t forget the other team, Charlotte, Fraser and Rebecca for working hard
during the challenge, and collecting almost as much as the winning team! The small animals will
certainly thank you all for making their paddock fresh and clean again.
