Horses love to exercise and play with their friends. Being free from fear and distress at
Greatwood, they like to spend their days galloping around their paddocks. But what does it
feel like to be a horse leaping over jumps? Students from Wansdyke School were about to
find out!
Dressing themselves in outdoor gear, they eagerly made their way to the ménage to see what
course they were going to try and complete just like the horses had done that morning. With a
mixture of high and low jumps laid out in front of them, who was going to make a clear round?
We are pleased to say that all students completed the course and not a pole wobbled as the
students jumped as high as the tree tops. Judging by the smiles on the students faces, the
horses must love the course just as much as they did.
What a fun morning pretending to be horses over the jumps. It’s clear to see that a happy
home makes for a happy horse!
